The UAE adopts a decision granting "golden residency" to a number of categories of residents

 issued a decision granting "golden residency" to a number of categories of foreign residents on its territory for a period of ten years, which opens the way for Arab residents to benefit from the decision.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, announced, through his official account on “Twitter” on Sunday, November 15th, that the UAE government approved granting “golden residency” to residents on its lands for a period of ten years for several categories:

All holders of doctoral degrees.

All physicians, and engineers in the fields of computer engineering, electronics, programming, electrical and biotechnology.

The top of the accredited universities in the country with a starting average of 3.8 and more.

Those with specialized degrees in artificial intelligence, big data, or epidemiology and viruses.

Top high school students in the country with their families.

The ruler of Dubai indicated that this batch of granting "golden residency" will be followed by other payments.

The “golden residency” is a category of long-term residence visas, issued under the “golden visa” card system in the UAE, and the “golden visa” program provides a long-term residence for its holder, up to five or ten years, in lieu of other visas.

It is granted to those with specialized talents and researchers in the fields of science and knowledge from doctors, specialists, scientists, inventors and creative people, and their special benefits include the husband or wife and children, in appreciation of their contributions in their fields of work.
